Well, it’s that time of year again and you know who’s coming to town. Lots of good times with family and friends. It’s also when you’re frustrated and stressed because of those on your list that don’t need a thing or you’re just not sure what to get them. Well, we’ve got you covered right here on Rodeo Drive. And just when you thought The Drive couldn’t get any better there’s a great new shop that just might have exactly what you need. The shop is called Casa Mexicana and like so many of the Rodeo Drive shops almost everything in the shop is made by the owner Wendy. You will find her homemade candles, macrame and beautiful embroidery in addition to some wonderful craft items each made right there.

Casa Mexicana also shows the delightful work of a young artist, Mario Perez. Mario came to Peñasco from Guaymas. He originally studied Graphic Design and then came to Peñasco for work. It was when he arrived in Peñasco that he began painting.

This is truly a must-see shop. Wendy wanted tourists to see items that you would see in a typical Mexican house, hence the name, Casa Mexicana.

Up and down the street you’ll find delightful items and friendly vendors

See you on The Drive.
