98th Bomb Group Reunion

Now that it’s official, the 98th will be having their 2011 Annual Reunion in Shreveport, LA (Barksdale AFB) October 17th – 21st. They will be hosting the “Ploesti Raiders” from all units that participated in those raids, regardless of their unit or position in that unit.

The Pinacate & Gran Desierto de Altar Biosphere Reserve is considered one of Mexico’s priority regions because it is immersed deep in the entrails of the Sonoran Desert, the most biodiverse desert in the world. It covers parts of California, Arizona, Baja California, Sonora and Sinaloa.

“Ready Lane” Open at the Lukeville/Sonoyta Border Crossing

A ‘Ready Lane’ for Mexico visitors crossing back into the USA is open at the Lukeville, AZ Port of Entry. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, the ‘Ready Lane’ which has RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) began service in May of this year, in order to expedite the border crossing process.

Recently while looking for some new bar stools I thought I would drop in at one of my favorite shops, Consign and Design. Well I discovered that they had moved from the Old Port area to Fremont Blvd.
