Empty Bowls-Puerto Peñasco is a fundraising initiative that, for the past 3½ years, has been working to address food insecurity among our neighbors. We are grassroots, all-volunteer organization, and we need your help!
We are looking for neighbors – full- or part-time residents – who would like to help make a difference here in our beautiful community of Puerto Peñasco. Do you have a couple, or even a few, hours a month that you could give to help put smiles on the faces of those who are truly struggling? Then we are the organization you’ve been looking for!
The process is simple: go to our website at Empty Bowls–Puerto Peñasco. Browse through the site to learn more about the work we do, then visit the “Volunteer” tab, where you will find a link to contact us by email. One of our committee leaders will get back to you right away to explain the process and discuss our current needs.
We would also like to extend a very warm welcome to our newest volunteers who have joined us recently:
Mehgan Thompson, Karen Mason, Khristy Bonham, Deb Swaton, Cheryl Cox, Karla Flores, Sharon Labban, Ivan Vazquez Ruvslcaba, Meredith Robinson, Karla Thornley, Adriana Alanis, David Aguirre, Laurie Larson, Elaine Turnbull, Harriet Harris, Dan & Liland Hurwyn, Krista Papasc, and Sue Donahue.
And finally, we want to extend to everyone an invitation to our 3rd Tacos and Tequila FUNdraiser! It will be held at The Pink Cadillac Restaurant on July 22nd. Be sure to mark your calendar for this super fun event!
Empty Bowls-Puerto Peñasco puts the FUN in FUNdraising, and we are all neighbors helping neighbors!
