“Something beautiful happened in Las Conchas — a reminder that when the community comes together with heart, real impact follows.
Thanks to Vecinos de Las Conchas Ayudando Fundación, a sold-out fundraiser benefiting Educarte welcomed 100 guests for an afternoon filled with music, generosity, and purpose. The event created meaningful connections while contributing directly to programs serving children and young adults with special needs in Puerto Peñasco.
The venue, Paz del Mar, was generously donated by Chuck Salem, creating a warm space for donors and friends to gather. Familia de Colores – Educarte’s parent group – made significant contributions on behalf of the school, demonstrating the powerful partnership between families and educators. From donated raffle items by local businesses to the generosity of Una Más Bar and bartenders, the spirit of giving was evident throughout the event.
One of the highlights of the evening was the participation of Educarte students. Students sang for guests and assisted with service, proudly representing Escuela de Victoria and showcasing the confidence and growth we work intentionally to cultivate each day. Their presence transformed the fundraiser into more than a financial contribution – it became a living example of inclusive education in action.
That same spirit continued at the Bandidos event on Valentine’s Day. We would like to formally thank the Banditos team and Roger Clyne for their continued support.
If you are interested in getting involved, we invite you to do so across the border. Supporters in Arizona are invited to attend Taste of the Farm, an intimate farm-to-table experience at Duncan Family Farms in Goodyear on April 15th, followed by a golf tournament on April 16th at Grand Canyon University Golf Course. Both events directly benefit Educarte’s mission and offer opportunities to engage, give, and build connections.
Educarte thrives because of collaborations like this. When neighbors, families, businesses, artists, and volunteers unite – across cities and borders – we don’t just host events. Together, we strengthen a more inclusive and compassionate community for everyone.
