Our 2nd Annual Professional Soup Competition was a fantastic success! Thanks to everyone who attended, donated, and shared their time and enthusiasm, Empty Bowls–Puerto Peñasco will be able to continue providing support to our neighbors experiencing food insecurity through 2026 with the help of our local food bank, Banco de Alimentos.

It was a joyful event filled with live local music, delicious soups, yummy desserts, a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, Empty Bowls merchandise, and a Silent Auction. We are deeply grateful to Borracho’s Cantina for hosting us in their beautiful space and supporting our mission. As well as to our judges:

  • Yolbeth Martinez – Owner Hacienda La Dona Bella
  • Carlos Hernandez – Co-owner CS Foods
  • Neftali Ponce – Executive Chef Mayan Palace
