Thanks to Bernal Diaz del Castillo, who was with Cortez and Father Bernardino Sahagun, a Franciscan friar, in 1530 CE, we have detailed written documentation of the foods the Aztecs ate. Many times, I have said that every day is a learning curve living in Mexico. Having lived in Rocky Point for twenty years I am used to being stopped in a road block, either by the local police passing out literature, checking for alcohol, seat belts, etc.
