Fall is always a beautiful time to visit Rocky Point. Perfect weather for strolling down Rodeo Drive to   see all it has to offer. From trinkets for the kids to unique home accessories it’s all right there awaiting you. The best shopping experience you can imagine.

Rodeo Drive is also gearing up for the annual Dia de los Muertos Festival that will take place on November 1st and 2nd.  This will be the 10th year they have put on the Festival and after weeks of preparation it will be a feast for the eyes. Alters, parades, Catrina contest, music and dancing in the street. There will be a stage with some wonderful local talent and bands playing.

Not a somber celebration but a celebration honoring those that have passed and celebrating their lives. The alters always include ashes or dirt to represent earth, a glass of water for the spirits to drink, tissue paper for air, candles for fire and small skulls made of sugar or chocolate. The beautiful orange and yellow flowers (usually marigolds) represent the sun’s warmth and light, and the radiant colors are thought to guide souls of the departed back to the world of the living.

Come celebrate with us and if you haven’t had a chance to visit Rodeo Drive this is a great opportunity. Rodeo Drive is always welcoming with great shops and friendly vendors.

See you on the drive.
