Grilled Sesame Chicken
1/2 Cup olive oil
1/2 Cup white wine
1/2 Cup soy sauce
1 – 2 Tablespoons freshly grated ginger
1 Tablespoon dry mustard
1 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 Cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 Cup chopped green onions
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 Whole chickens, quartered
Combine all marinade ingredients. Place chicken in large zip-lock bag and pour in marinade. Squeeze out air and seal. Marinate, refrigerated, for 4-8 hours.
Remove chicken, reserving marinade. Grill over medium-hot coals for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is cooked, basting frequently with reserved marinade.
A snap to prepare. The sesame seeds toast as the chicken grills, imparting a nutty flavor.
