October and November are my favorite times of the year to visit Puerto Peñasco. I try to visit cooler destinations during the late summer. I was in northern Wisconsin, almost into Canada, and I spent some wonderful fishing time in Alaska. The Silver Salmon were ready to play, and I was able to bring some home, frozen in vac seal bags. The usual suspects are invited for planked Salmon sometime this fall.

I am looking forward to bringing some of my fly fishing friends from Desert Fly Caster to Puerto Peñasco and introducing them to the fishing opportunities in the Sea of Cortez. If you see a crowd of fly fishers in the Playa De Oro RV Trailer Park in mid-November it’s probably us. If you are interested in fly fishing, stop by and chat.

I am looking forward to catching a few fish at La Pinta. Cleaning them and dropping them off at Salt and Lime, then having them making ceviche, and frying up a mess of fish for me and a few friends. Hope to see you on the water this fall. Contact information vincehasgonefishing@outlook.com and 480 818 1796.
