Wow! March already! We had a bit of a switch-up with our weather for January and December, but February started out just like it says in the ‘fine print’ and, hopefully, March with be as we all remember it is supposed to be…warm breezes, pleasant temperatures and a wonderful intro to April, our most beautiful month! Bingo is still well attended and is getting more popular with some of my friends out here on the playas. Thursday bingo is especially well attended, so if you are looking for a fun distraction, and the chance to win a few bucks, stop by the post. You’re always welcome.
Karaoke still starts at 6 p.m. on Friday, so come on by for lots of fun with friends. Grab a cold drink and warble your best tunes! The gentleman’s Cigars and Booze gathering is going well and growing! We still meet weekly, but if you want to know when and where, you’ll have to come to the post to get that information because the gents who attend it are very shy, and no one wants any “Karens” carping about “those stinky cigars” to all who would listen. If you are a cigar aficionado or just enjoy good conversation over a cold beer…or both, stop by the post and you’ll be directed.
There is always something new to do, and see, at the post. Our new culinary partner is providing delicious fried chicken as well as other mouthwatering vittles and the beer is always cold!
If you are a veteran or just looking for a fun way to spend some time and whet your whistle, come on over to the American Legion Post 15 where you are always welcome!
