Read MoreIt’s February and though we have had a pretty good winter so far, I am ready for May to come. Can we have an entire year of May? This year the afternoon temperature seems to be hovering in the mid-to-high-60s and even jumps into the 70s now and then. Last year (in late January) we were about 77-degrees. Ahhhh. And in 1950 Rocky Point hit a high of 83-degrees. Now that’s what I’m talking about! The weather has been pretty ideal for whale watching (if I must say something nice about winter weather), and we have sat outside on many restaurant patios having food and drinks with the sun shining down on us. We are more fortunate than not.
