The Rocky Point Times “El Golfo Run”, which took place in October of this year, was our 33rd bi-annual off-road run from Rocky Point to the small fishing town of El Golfo de Santa Clara, about 85 miles, north of Rocky Point. The runs are organized in May and October every year by my wife, Sandy.

Santa Claus Club

We have been providing food, clothes, bicycles, toys, school supplies and household items to the needy families of Puerto Peñasco for the past 30 years. For the first 24 years we had a Christmas party in Cholla Bay on Christmas Day. In 2008, we changed our format to a year round program. We now provide our services door to door on a weekly basis. This gives us a better understanding of the needs of the families we are trying to help.
