The AZUL Bar, poolside/lounge bar at Bella Sirena Resort (formerly SWIM), had their Grand Opening celebration last month, right after the HOA meeting at the Resort. The lucky owners present, along with guests Fausto Soto and Rosie Glover, were treated to an array Chef Luca’s (owner, Pane e Vino) fabulous food. The AZUL, will be run by Karina Ortiz, Chef Luca’s wife, and Chef Luca will open his new restaurant at the Resort, soon. The food served at the event was a wonderful selection, including; Zucchini quiche lorraine, Pizza (Sardinara), Potato croquettes, Meatballs, Assorted cheeses, Salami, Marinated artichoke, Mozzarella caprese, Sun-dried tomatoes, Salatini with puff pastry, Hard broiled eggs stuffed with tuna, Roasted bell pepper, and Tinga mini tostadas (Shredder chicken with chipotle). Oh my, your mouth watering, yet? Speaking from a personal standpoint, we can hardly wait for Chef Luca to open at the Bella Sirena Resort. We are assuming (Uh Oh, you know what that means) that Chef Luca will retain his “PANE E VINO” name for his new restaurant, since he now has such a great following.
