Last month we held one of our favorite summer traditions – Tacos & Tequila! Together, we enjoyed delicious tacos, celebrated National Tequila Day with a toast, relaxed by the pool, and most importantly, raised funds to help feed our food-challenged neighbors here in Puerto Peñasco.
This marked the third year we’ve hosted this popular event at The Pink Cadillac Restaurant, and we are especially grateful to the Burns family for generously donating their beautiful venue and for their unwavering support of Empty Bowls. Their kindness, along with the dedication of our incredible volunteers, made this year’s event another successful and memorable FUNdraiser. Every taco served, every raffle ticket purchased, and every dollar donated helps ensure that local families have food on their tables.
We’re already looking ahead to our next exciting FUNdraiser – our annual Burger Bash, coming to the pool at Playa Inn/Gatos Bar for the very first time on Wednesday, September 23. Join us for outstanding burgers, great company, and a fun afternoon with a purpose. Every person who attends helps us continue providing staple foods to our neighbors who are struggling with food insecurity.
